And the trailer is up. Pretty damn great.

The most anticipated film of the summer is without a doubt Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight. I'll update this page later today when the theatrical trailer is released at Why So Serious?. I think it's pretty safe to say this will be one of the year's highlights. Everything we've seen thus far has been great. Pretty amazing how this franchise turned around, isn't it? I like how a friend describes the new films as "this really crazy character study". He's right. Nolan isn't interested in simple, generic spectacle. His vision for this character has emotional and thematic depth, and that ambition creates a level of thrills beyond most summer escapism.
