Charlton Heston has passed away at the age of 84.
One of the icons of the screen, Heston is known for his memorable performances in Ben Hur (he won an Oscar for it), The Ten Commandments, The Omega Man (it's fun), Soylent Green (also pretty fun), Planet of the Apes and the brilliant Orson Welles noir Touch of Evil.
Also worth noting is his work in Branagh's Hamlet and Anthony Mann's epic El Cid. Rest In Peace. |
