Jean Claude Van Damme as Jean Claude Van Damme in......JCVD. No, seriously, this is a real movie, and it actually looks quite good.
Maybe it's because I grew up loving the guy, maybe it's because I still have a soft spot for Bloodsport and Hard Target and Timecop, but I think this is a great idea and a smart way to use a fallen B-star from the late '80s/early '90s. And I think it's admirable that Van Damme is willing to put himself out there like this. I hope this works out for him. |
