Saturday, May 3, 2008by Ari Update: The new theatrical trailer is online. I like it......a lot. "We'll do this the old-fashioned way". I sure hope so. ................................................................................................ The anticipation for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull seems to be reaching new heights every day. It's interesting to follow the buzz from various online sources for this film. There's no doubt Spielberg's newest installment is generating a tremendous amount of interest from critics and audiences, but I'm not really sure what they expect to see. I'm not exacty sure what they want to see. I'm also not sure why it's the biggest deal if the film isn't any good. It's not like the last two sequels were landmark films. Temple of Doom has some fun set-pieces and Last Crusade has Sean Connery, but these are not great, classic movies. They're not Raiders of the Lost Ark. I don't see how Crystal Skull can be significantly worse than the last two sequels, and I'm especially excited to see it when images like this one appear online:
