Monday, February 2, 2009Moment Captured: The Cotton Club by Ari Just as the Copa scene in Goodfellas tells its own little story within the film, this sequence in Francis Ford Coppola's underrated The Cotton Club gives the audience an inside look at all the important players and intrigue at one of the most famous spots in New York. I'll never understand why this is considered a lesser work for Coppola. It's not a masterpiece, but it's still pretty grand.
